The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is one of the largest independent international environmental organizations with about 5 million permanent supporters and operating in more than 100 countries.
WWF’s mission is to prevent the growing degradation of the planet’s natural environment and achieve harmony between man and nature. The main goal is to preserve the earth’s biodiversity.
In 1988 WWF started working in Russia. In 1994 the WWF Russian agency was opened. In 2004, WWF Russia became a Russian national organization. During this time, we have conducted 1,000 field projects in 47 regions in our country and invested 133 million euros in preserving Russia’s natural resources.
